If you are like most of the people who use MySpace, you have done your share of wandering around this social networking web site. You may be looking for new prospects for your Friends list. You may just enjoy reading the blogs, or admiring the graphics that others have left as a part of their messages on the different profiles you come across. Whatever your reason for surfing the pages of MySpace, you cannot help but notice all of the different profiles. Of course, there are a few plain ones, but the vast majority of MySpace members have taken the time to dress up their profiles with graphics, colours, images, and all sorts of interesting photos. You can find sets of all these things for MySpace. These sets have been dubbed “layouts”, and one of the reasons that they are so popular is the vast array of choices that are available when searching for them. Layouts are free, but you need to know just where to look online to find the best ones. The most popular varieties of these layouts are the many Playboy MySpace layouts , along with the wide selection of music layouts. Music MySpace layouts run the gamut from what would be classified as a more or less “generic” music layout, consisting of musical notes, bars, and staffs floating on a coloured background to a layout that is all about a certain band, right down to the icons! You can find music layouts that will express the personality of the individual user, as chosen by the user. A lot of thought goes into the choice of a music layout for MySpace, usually much more than is necessary for one of the candy MySpace layouts that are available. The user must consider their favourite style of music, their favourite band, and whether or not a premade layout is available for that band. Even when there is a layout already available, it is not unusual for people to create their own music layouts. By doing so, they can control the colours, the fonts used, and everything else involved in making the perfect music layout. However, there are ways to use the vast majority of premade layouts, and make them truly your own creations. All it takes is the addition of perhaps some glitter graphics, a slideshow, or the use of a MySpace generator or a few lines of code to change the looks of a layout. Premade music layouts can consist of piano keys on a dark background, perhaps with a few roses scattered about, or a layout that consists of a sheet music background accented with complimentary graphics and/or photos. You may be interested in a music layout that glorifies rock music, country music, jazz, or even opera! The music layouts that feature different types of musical instruments are very popular, as are the layouts that pay homage to the individual bands, musicians, and vocalists that make up the music world of today. If you are a music lover, you are sure to find a MySpace music layout to suit both your personality and your musical tastes. No Tags

Most people who are members of MySpace share a love of good, current movies. Just a few years ago, the only way they could express that interest on their profile was to hunt around until they were able to find a layout depicting scenes, characters, or both from their favourite movie. With some diligence, a free MySpace layout representing a cinema blockbuster that suits the user’s personality is an easy fix for a dull profile page. Movie mavens now have cause to rejoice! Now, their MySpace profiles not only can boast movie layouts, but video trailers of movies, and in some cases, the actual movies themselves. This is a hugely popular profile fix, and in the months to come, you will probably start to see even more profiles that feature movies and movie trailers. If you are a movie lover, it won’t take you long to pimp your profile and turn it into a movie extravaganza that everyone on your Friend’s list will want to take advantage of. You may even find that many of them are going to copy your idea, and have a movie of their own proudly displayed on their own MySpace profile. So, just how do you go about adding a movie trailer or an actual movie to your MySpace profile? It’s a lot easier than you think. MySpace TV (www.myspacetv.com) is a web site that is completely separate from the official MySpace site, yet is fully associated with it. MySpace TV offers the ability for visitors to the site to watch and enjoy videos and movies whether or not they are actually members of MySpace. There are no statistics to prove this, but those who discover MySpace TV will more than likely join MySpace and choose a cool MySpace layout so they can add a movie, video, or movie trailer to it! This web site also allows you to upload and record as well as view movies and trailers, television programs, and videos before you add them to your profile. MySpace Primetime is another option that is located inside the MySpace website. Only members of MySpace who are logged in can see this option. Here you will find not only movies, but also television programs, videos, original programming, and a host of other choices. Adding all of this entertainment richness to your profile is as easy as choosing what movies or television programs you want to show off on your page, then clicking on a button that says, “Add this App”. If movie trailers are your thing, check out a web site called Video Code Zone for the latest selections! You will find it easy to locate trailers for the newest and latest movies, and will appreciate the ease with which you can add and remove them from your profile. It is as simple as copying and pasting a code into an area of your profile, and deleting it when you are ready to change out the trailer for another one. Your MySpace profile will be up to date as well as popular with movie fans when you add movies, videos, and/or movie trailers to your page. Have fun! No Tags

Are you trying to build up your MySpace Friends list, but are unsure as to just what you should do to change up your profile to make it attractive to others? No one is going to linger very long on a boring profile page, but if you are able to spice it up a bit and make it entertaining, it will draw quite a few people to your page! Moreover, while they are there, they are very likely to ask to be on your Friends list. So, what can you do to make your page interesting to others? How about watching television? Yes, television! Did you know that you could actually watch television from your MySpace profile? Not only can you have a MySpace layout that pays homage to your favourite television program, you can more than likely screen that show on your profile! Perhaps you have seen this cool tweak on someone else’s profile, and want the same thing for your own page. Maybe this idea of television on your profile is all new to you, and you would like to try this out for yourself. Whatever your reason, watching television in this manner is easy and fun, and you’ll be surprised at just how many of your favorite shows are available for you to add to your profile. An application that is available on the MySpace site for members only is known as Primetime. This app allows you to watch television shows as well as movies and movie trailers. Some of the shows are reruns of older yet still popular situation comedies such as I Dream of Jeannie, Married with Children, or Gilmore Girls. There are also more up to date programs such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Heroes. You can choose from more than just sitcoms, too. Shows like America’s Most Wanted, Access Hollywood, Sports Illustrated, and Jerry Springer are also available for you to add to your MySpace profile. The beauty of the Primetime site is that you can add and delete shows at will. Whatever suits your fancy as far as television shows are concerned can be a part of your profile, as long as it is listed on the web site. Primetime is a MySpace application that can easily be added to your profile from within MySpace. Another site that is not a part of MySpace, but can be utilized in the same way that Primetime can be used to dress up your profile is called Hulu. Hulu also has a wide variety of different television programs that include reality and game shows, comedy, cartoons, sports, science fiction, and just about everything else you would find on television today, except for the commercials! All of these shows can be placed on your MySpace profile page to be enjoyed by you and the folks who visit your page. If you have a fast Internet connection, you can even upload your favorite High Definition shows! There are also movies and even video game trailers on Hulu that are sure to be enjoyed by everyone who visits your MySpace profile. Pair up these television shows with a free MySpace layout that complements them, and your profile will be smashing! No Tags

Most people who participate in the social networking phenomenon that is MySpace are always on the lookout for new items to display on their profile. Personalizing this page is very popular, as MySpace members enjoy expressing their personalities by choosing from countless premade sources of profile bling. Most, if not all of these sources are free, and all it takes is a simple download plus the addition of a few lines of code to the individual’s profile to add them. One of the most widely used bits of profile bling is animated graphics. There is really no way that you could properly catalogue all of the different types of animated graphics that exist for MySpace users. There are animated graphics that spell out certain words and phrases in a rainbow of colours and styles, and if you are unable to locate that particular phrase or saying that you are looking for, don’t despair! You can locate MySpace generators that will help you to create animated graphics that spell out anything you would like them to. However, words and phrases are not the only sort of animated graphics that you can place on your profile. It can be a lot of fun to build your entire page based on the subject of your MySpace layout . Since there are so many different types of layouts that have been created for MySpace profiles, the possibilities for the use of animated graphics are practically limitless. For example, let’s say that your profile is based on astrology and the zodiac. You can find animated graphics and gifs of the twelve signs of the zodiac. There is a graphic that spells out Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, and so on, and an animation that is a cartoon-like drawing of the symbol that represents each sign. How would you like some beautiful, full-colour animated graphics of the sun, moon, and stars for your MySpace layout? These are available as well, and you would be quite pleased with their appearance. Imagine for a moment that you have chosen one of the popular car MySpace layouts that can be located online after a bit of searching. You can dress up this profile very easily with automotive animated graphics. Cars of every description, from the long finned beauties of the 1950s to the sleek lines of a new Jaguar or Corvette can be displayed in all of their animated glory. You can also use the moving graphics found online that represent the logos of the various types of cars that are driven and admired around the world. How do you add animated graphics to your MySpace profile? All you have to do is a simple copy and paste. The animated graphics that are suitable for MySpace profiles will have an image code, and this is all that you will need. Simply copy this information, and then just paste it into the section of your profile where you want the graphic to appear. In no time at all, your profile will be stunning! It is not difficult at all to accomplish this, and make your profile something special that everyone on your Friends list will be talking about. No Tags

Many people like to say that MySpace is a force of nature. While this social networking web site is probably not quite scientific enough to be tagged with this description, you have to admit that the lives of many people have been changed forever by the use of MySpace. The ability to befriend and share a little slice of your life with millions of people all over the world with words, photographs, and videos is a heady feeling, and can help to explain why MySpace is such a phenomenon with computer users of all ages. Anytime someone wants to be a little different when leaving a comment for a friend on MySpace, they can do just that with the use of MySpace symbol codes. These are one of the simplest ways to change up your posts, and make them look cheerful and pert. What kind of symbols are we speaking of? The HTML kind that are for special codes and symbols. Some of the most requested codes don’t have codes. When people want to use them, they merely copy and paste the one that they need. You can enlarge them, or make them smaller in the same way that you make a font larger or smaller. However, some of them DO have codes. For example, the playing card characters, spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds have a name code that goes like this – ♠ &diamonds; ♣ ♥ Some codes have both a name code and a number code. For example, the cent sign. The name code for this is – ¢ The number code is – ¢ Both the name and the number code will do the same thing. There are times, however, that the codes will not work when you try to place them on MySpace, even when they are supposed to work perfectly. In this case, you can copy and paste any code you would like to use (once you have changed it to the right size) in a MySpace bulletin, comment, blog post, or even on your profile, and it should transfer over beautifully. There are so many different symbols, as you can see below, that your imagination will just go wild when you think of ways to use them on the various sections of MySpace. ☀☂☁【】┱ ┲ ❣ ✚ ✪ ✣ ✤ ✥ ✦ ❉❥ ❦ ❧ ❃ ❂ ❁ ❀ ✄ ☪ ☣ ☢ ☠ ☭ ♈ ➸ ✓ ✔ ✕ ✖ ㊚ ㊛ *.:。✿*゚‘゚・ ◊ ♥ ╠ ═ ╝▫ ■ ๑ » « ¶ ஐ © † εïз ♪ ღ ♣ ♠ • ± ° •ิ. • ஐ இ * × ○ ▫ ♂ • ♀ ◊ © ¤ ▲ ↔ ™ ® ☎ εїз ♨ ☏ ☆ ★ ▽ △ ▲ ∵ ∴ ∷ # ♂ ♀ ♥ ♠ ♣ ♧ ♤ ♧ ♡ ♬ ♪ ♭ ♫♪ ﻬ ஐღ ↔ ↕ ↘••● ¤ ╬ ﹌ ▽ ☜♥☞ α в c ∂ ε f g н ι נ к ℓ м η σ ρ q я s т υ v ω x y z άв ς đ έ f ģ ħ ί ј ķ Ļ м ή ό ρ q ŕ ş ţ ù ν ώ x ч ž Å Á Ä Ã å á ä ã æ ß b c © Ð d é ê f ƒ g h ï î j k £ m Ñ ñ η ô õ ø Þ þ p q ® § š t ú û µ v w x ý ÿ z ž ¿ ¶ $ € ¤¨¨¤ ¤¨¨¤ (¨`v´¨) (¨`v´¨) isнιηε »-(¯`v´¯)-» »-(¯`v´¯)-» •:*:• •:*:• ¯`°¤.¸.¤ ¯`°¤.¸.¤ ¸¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸ ¸¸.•*´¯`v´¯`*•.¸¸ (¯`•._) (¯`•._) •´`•.¸.» •´`•.¸.» ¸¸.•´°¤ ¸¸.•´°¤ »–» »–» () () ¤´¯`-´¯`¤ ¤´¯`-´¯`¤ °o.O °o.O .•´¸.•´¨¤ .•´¸.•´¨¤ -»¦«- -»¦« ☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○◙♂♀♪♫☼►◄↕‼¶§▬↨↑↓→←∟↔▲▼ !”#$%♣c÷à☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○◙♂♀♪♫☼►◄↕‼¶§▬↨↑↓→←∟↔▲▼ !”#$%♣c÷à ◕‿◕ ❤ ツ ♥ ☺ ☻ ♦ ♣ ♠ • ◘ ○ ◙ ♀ ♂ ♪ ♫ ☼ ► ◄ ↕ ‼ ¶ § ▬ ↨ ☆ ℓ εïз ☠♫✈☹☺☻∞♥♣©®☎☑☞▲ ▼׬|»¤¸„ø¤º☮☆●♫★♥☆♪¤«|¬☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○♂ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ ♪♫✈☺†∞♥♣©® ☎ ☑☞ $%^&@!$%*()[]{} ♪♥♫◦°°◦°°◦♫♥♪? .(….…………../….) . ….……….. /…./ …….………./…./ ….…./´¯.I.¯`./ …./… I….I..(¯¯¯` …I…..I….I…¯¯.… …I…..I´¯.I´¯.I..…) ……..` ¯..¯ ´…….’ …._________.•´ (¯`v´¯) .`•.¸.•´ ¸.•´¸.•´¨) ¸.•*¨) (¸.•´ (¸.•´ .•´ ¸¸.•¨ `*~*~*☜ ☞ ☎ ☏ ⊙ ◎ ☺ ☻ ► ◄ ▧ ▨ ♨ ◐ ◑ ↔ ↕ ▪ ▫ ☼ ♦ ▀ ▄ █ ▌ ▐ ░ ▒▬ ♦ ◊ ◦ ☼ ♠ ♣ ▣ ▤ ▥ ▦ ▩ ぃ◘ ◙ ◈ ♫ ♬ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♪ の ☆ → あ £ ❤ 。◕‿◕。 ✎ ✟ஐ ≈ ๑۩۩.. ..

There aren’t too many places online where you can make friends with people all over the world, network with those who have similar interests, and entertain yourself with music and videos of all descriptions. MySpace is one of those places! This social networking site has an incredible influence on all types of communication, the business world, and society as a whole. Popular culture is also strongly influenced by what people see and hear on MySpace, especially those under the age of 30. Everyone wants an interesting MySpace profile. That’s part of the fun of being a member of the site. Looking through the many web sites that feature colourful layouts, glittery text, surveys, and other applications is a treat in itself! People take a lot of time and care in choosing just what they want their profile to look like. What might look good to them this week may not be at all what is wanted by them on their profile next week, and so this choosing of profile items is an ongoing thing for a good many MySpace users. There is a neat way to change around your profile and have it be just different enough to be memorable. With this fix, your layout is made up of three big scrollboxes. These boxes are set up to have a photo at the top and the bottom, with bulleted information in between the photos. Three boxes are usually enough to hold the usual number of photos and the amount of information that normally shows up on a profile. It looks totally cool and very tidy as well! To try this out, here is the code: text or images go here You can change the height and width numbers until you get the scrollbox to be the size that works best for you. Your MySpace profile is your online presence. People who don’t know you in person are going to judge you extensively by what you include on your profile. You may want to be careful what kind of photos you post, as you really don’t ever know who will be looking at you via your profile. The same goes for the information that is posted in your blog. Don’t place anything there that could possibly jeopardize your job. Yes, people have actually lost their jobs because of posts about their activities that delve a little too deeply into their personal lives. Photos of themselves in rather incriminating acts have also been used against people by their employers. You do have the option of making your blog posts private, as well as your photos, while leaving the rest of your profile available for anyone to view. Be aware that even if you hide your information and photos, you still will have people who are going to wonder what you have to hide! It’s a good idea in this case to have a personal MySpace account and profile, and another MySpace account and profile that has been created especially for the eyes of your business associates. Then, of course, you will have to remember not to give out your personal MySpace URL to anyone but friends and family. No Tags

There are millions of people around the world who make MySpace a part of their daily lives. It has been used as a way to locate people you haven’t seen in years, form a network of like-minded individuals for business purposes, get noticed by music industry insiders, launch a career, share videos and photos with family and friends, and even more! Your MySpace profile is the first thing that people see when they decide they want to find out more about you. This is why MySpace members spend so much time adding and removing graphics, backgrounds, songs, cursors, and various codes to and from their profile. They are striving to have the perfect profile, although such a thing probably does not exist! Perfect is in the eye of the beholder, and there are some awfully interesting profile pages to be seen on MySpace. It doesn’t take long to change an item or items on your profile. In fact, in just a few moments of time, you can change the appearance of a profile so drastically that it will be unrecognizable as the same one you viewed previously. Users normally do not make such extreme changes unless they are changing the layout, in which case they are merely swapping around some code by copying and pasting. When they preview their changes, and see what could only be termed a big mess, then they know that they got hold of some bad code. Or, if they typed in the code themselves, they figure that they must have transposed a letter or a number – maybe both. Always make sure you preview any changes that you make to your MySpace profile ! The preview function is there for a reason, and it’s to keep you from sending your profile to the Land of No Return. In other words, once you click on Save Changes, there’s no going back. Don’t make changes by not checking them out first, the way that so many users have discovered is not a very good idea. Otherwise, you just might end up having to start your profile all over again – from scratch! It is amazing at the depth with which you can make changes to your profile. You can even change the colour of the text if you like. MySpace does make some of the text you see when you first start to build a profile appear as a default. The words such as “About Me” and “Who I’d Like To Meet” in an orange-coloured text, as well as “Movies”, “Television”, and “Heroes” in a blue-coloured text will all appear before you start adding and deleting to/from your profile. It seems that those last 3, “Movies”, “Television”, and “Heroes” are a bit harder for some people to remove than others. There is a code available that will hide this text for you. Copy and paste the following into the “About Me” section of your profile. .lightbluetext8 {display:none;}table table table table td {width:0px;}.contactTable td, table table td.text table td,table table table table table td {width:auto;} This will hide the words from the left side. However, the cells will be there. If you would like to have a one column interests table, try this code, copied and pasted into the “About Me” section. tr td tr td tr td tr td tr td {width:0px;padding:0px;} table table table table td{width:0px;padding:0px;border:0px;} span.lightbluetext8{display:none;} And, this code will hide the Interests table completely. .interestsanddetails{display:none;} You should be able to make the blue text in your Interest table hide for good with the use of these three codes! Everyone should have a MySpace account! No matter what your age, from a tween to a senior, there is a place for you on this hugely popular social networking site. People log on to MySpace for many things. Most people use the site to keep up with friends, make new ones, and network with other users from all over the world. MySpace is free to join and easy to use. 65 million people can’t be wrong! Yes, MySpace has 65 million users, and is still growing every day. One of the enjoyable aspects of MySpace is the ability to customize your profile as often as you like until you get the page to look just the way you want it. You can really use your creativity when you are working on these pages. You’ll also learn some basic HTML along the way, in spite of yourself! You will be using blocks of HTML along with several different sets of code in order to change up the look of your page. Some MySpace users also make use of CSS style sheets to get the effect they are after. You can do an awful lot with these seemingly simple codes and HTML tweaks. They can be used to hide certain page elements on your profile, change colours, the position of scroll bars, banners and boxes as well as the entire layout, if you like. A word of warning to those who have never attempted to change anything to do with their profile – don’t try to change everything to do with your profile all at once. You might be very, very sorry that you ever even started to attempt a profile change. Why is this? Well, one little slip, one wrong letter or < or > can ruin the appearance of your page. It can be quite difficult and tedious to comb through lines and lines of code in order to locate the little bit that could be making your page look nothing like you intended it to. That said, it is relatively easy to customize your MySpace profile. You will see an “Edit Profile” link around your default photo. Click on that, and you’ll see that you are at the proper place for changing the different aspects of your profile. MySpace has several sections on your profile page that are there when you first open your account. Heroes, About Me, Movies, Television, Interests, and several more. Many people have problems with getting the Interests section to look the way they want it to look. Often, once you get this section set up just right, there will be a thick blue space on the left of the section box. This space may have movies or other attractions inside of it. It can really be an annoyance to have this blue space in the way! Luckily, there is a way for you to dispose of it. Here’s what to do. Copy and paste the following code into the “About Me” section of your profile on the profile editing page. {! get rid of Interests borders !} .interestsanddetails, .interestsanddetails td {border:0px;} {! change Interests inner background to white !} .interestsanddetails td td {background-color:white;} You can then preview your profile to make sure everything looks all right to you. If you like what you see, you can click on “Save” and you’re all set! You can also change that blue colour if you so desire. In the above code, note where the word white is. Oddly enough, this is what creates the blue colour. Just change the word “white” to a colour that is pleasing to you. Simple and effective! No Tags

It’s difficult to imagine an Internet without MySpace, isn’t it? Believe it or not, there was no such thing as a MySpace until the year 2003. A similar social networking site called Friendster had launched in 2002, and employees of a company called eUniverse who were members of Freindster decided that they could do much better themselves. At first, Myspace was populated only by employees of eUniverse. This was done intentionally to keep the site from being so “empty” when other users came along. eUniverse then held contests to see which employee could sign up the most new members, and MySpace was soon the top social networking site of all. In fact, people left Friendster en masse to join and use MySpace instead to interact with friends and co-workers. MySpace allowed much more user customization than Friendster did, and kids and adults both enjoyed the challenge of making their MySpace layouts look just the way they wanted them to appear. Everyone on MySpace knows Tom. You know, Tom Anderson, the first Friend on your list when you joined MySpace. What you might not know about Tom is that he was a co-founder of the site, along with Chris DeWolfe, who was around when the original intention of the MySpace URL was a data storage site. With its main headquarters located in Beverly Hills, California, today MySpace is owned by Fox Interactive Media, and has the distinction of being recognized internationally. In April of 2008, MySpace was overtaken in popularity on an international level for the first time by Facebook. However, with the proposed improvements that MySpace has in the works, it is entirely possible that the site will soon overtake Facebook once more. Why is MySpace so popular? In the beginning, there was not nearly as much to use and enjoy when putting together a profile such as MySpace layouts , widgets, graphics, and apps, as well as music and video content. Today, MySpace users can enjoy features such as MySpace Applications, including Bumper Stickers and Real Top Friends. Music is a big part of MySpace, as bands old and new use the site to post samples of their music for all to enjoy. Many bands were discovered on MySpace, and it remains a prime spot to read news and pinpoint concert dates for music lovers. Forums, polls, groups, and the new MySpace Karaoke are just a few of the many things a Myspace user can participate in. People flocked to the site because of the social aspects of MySpace. The idea of being able to communicate online with people from other parts of the world just as easily as you could chat online with a co-worker or friend from your own city was far too intriguing for most computer users to pass up.
